Laboratories are facing significant Medicare payment cuts, effective January 1, 2027, as a result of PAMA.  It is imperative that laboratories, their personnel, clinicians, patients and other interested parties contact their elected federal officials as soon as possible regarding the significant harm that these cuts will have on patient access and care.  An easy way to make your voice heard is to visit www.stoplabcuts.org, a website established by the American Clinical Laboratory Association.  Just click the "Take Action" button to send your concerns electronically to your elected senators and representatives.
