Jane Pine Wood, President, New York State Clinical Laboratory Association

Thirty-nine years of representation of clinical and anatomic laboratories, hospitals, health systems, physicians, imaging centers, home health agencies, mental health providers, clinics, other healthcare providers, and professional societies in corporate, regulatory, reimbursement, contractual, and other matters.

Amy Kellogg, Esq, Lobbyist, Harter, Secrest & Emory

Amy Kellogg is a partner at the law firm of Harter, Secrest & Emery in Albany, NY where her law practice focuses on representing a variety of New York State professional associations, businesses and not for profits before New York State Government, including the State Legislature, Governor’s Office and various State Agencies. She advises her clients on how best to navigate New York State government to achieve their desired results and assists them by drafting legislation, arranging for bill introduction, navigating the legislative process, researching and monitoring pending legislation and providing budget and financing advice for those with fiscal needs. She also advises clients regarding a myriad of government relations compliance issues, from ethics and gifts laws to procurement regulations to campaign finance and election laws. Ms. Kellogg has been representing clients in New York since earning her law degree, cum laude, from Albany Law School in 2002. In addition to her government affairs practice, Ms. Kellogg is President of the Potsdam Foundation Board, past chair of the American Bar Association’s Business Law Section Government Affairs Practice Committee, a board member for the National Association of State Lobbyists and a member of the National League of Women Lobbyists.

 

Laura Stevens Kent, Senior Vice President Government Affairs and Policy, American Clinical Laboratory Association

Laura Stevens Kent joined ACLA in July 2025 as Senior Vice President of Government Affairs and Policy. She brings decades of experience to the role having worked on Capitol Hill, in senior association leadership positions for the Hospital & Healthsystem Association of Pennsylvania (HAP) and as a health care policy consultant at DeBrunner & Associates. In her tenure with HAP, Laura was the chief advocate responsible for advancing the interest of Pennsylvania hospitals and health systems. She oversaw federal and state advocacy, political engagement, communications, emergency management, and strategic initiatives of the association. In her time on Capitol Hill, Laura worked for two senior members of the Pennsylvania Congressional Delegation handling their health care portfolios and served as the Executive Director of the Tuesday Group Caucus—a coalition of center-right governance minded members of the U.S. House of Representatives. Stevens Kent holds a B.A. from the University of Vermont and earned her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center while working full-time on the Hill.

 

Beverly Raich, M.S., Director, Clinical Laboratory Evaluation Program (CLEP), New York State Department of Health

Beverly Rauch joined the Wadsworth Center of the New York State Department of Health in 1999. Since then, she has held positions of increasing responsibility in the area of regulatory oversight. Beverly has been serving as the Director of the Clinical Laboratory Evaluation Program (CLEP) since 2019. CLEP is a large regulatory program responsible for ensuring public health, safety and welfare by licensing clinical laboratories, blood banks and limited service laboratories (LSL), establishing minimum qualifications for laboratory directors, and requiring that the performance of the laboratories meets the minimum standards approved by the Department. The key processes of CLEP’s oversight are laboratory survey, proficiency testing (PT) performance monitoring and review of laboratory-developed tests (LDT). Laboratory surveys (i.e., inspections) are required to determine compliance with applicable New York State laws, regulations, and standards. Beverly works closely with the DOH legal team drafting legal opinions, proposing regulatory revisions, and assessing administrative actions against regulated entities. Ms. Rauch received her education at SUNY Albany where she completed a BS degree in biology and an MS degree in molecular biology.

 

Jondavid Klipp, Editor, Laboratory Economics

Jondavid Klipp is President and Publisher of Laboratory Economics LLC, an independent market research firm focused on the business of pathology and laboratory medicine. In addition to writing the monthly newsletter Laboratory Economics, Mr. Klipp publishes the biennial research reports: The U.S. Anatomic Pathology Market Forecast & Trends and The U.S. Clinical Laboratory Industry Forecast & Trends. Prior to founding Laboratory Economics in April 2006, Mr. Klipp was Managing Editor at Washington G-2 Reports from 1999 to March 2006. Prior to joining G-2, Mr. Klipp was an HMO analyst at Corporate Research Group in New Rochelle, New York and a Senior Writer in the equity research department at Dean Witter in New York City. Mr. Klipp has a B.S. Degree in Economics from Clemson University.

 

Doug Marcey, Chief Technology Officer, Coronis Health

Doug Marcey joined Coronis Health in 2023, having served as CTO of the MiraMed family company Plexus Technology Group since 2016. Mr. Marcey leads our technology teams to provide the technology needed to support the Coronis mission, including stable infrastructure, flexible cloud computing, powerful custom software, and innovative automation and machine learning platforms. Mr. Marcey has had a diverse background across a number of verticals, including government/defense contracting, entertainment, financial institutions, and NGOs. He started his career in healthcare technology as an NIH contractor in 2004 and has been working on EMR/EHR and RCM solutions since 2006. He studied computer science, and artificial intelligence at George Mason University.

Josh Kramer, Managing Partner, LEAP Consulting

Josh brings 25+ years leading digital strategy and digital asset development to his role as Managing Partner at LEAP Consulting, the last 15 focused on regulated industries: healthcare, finance, and telecom. Josh has been recognized for his strategic vision, innovative thinking, and ability to drive positive change through technology by healthcare and business organizations, such as Ernst & Young, ONC, ACHE, NJBIZ, and Forbes. Prior to founding Leap in 2010, Josh was a founding CTO at a pioneering wireless data startup from 1994-2001, and from 2001-2010, Josh held the Chief Technology / Product / Executive officer titles in venture-backed companies. Josh's operational roles were in telecom, digital-payments, gaming, digital media, and e-commerce. Josh is passionate about using technology to make the world a happier, easier, and better place – and sees digital initiatives as the way to get there. He is impassioned about advising his clients' executives on their digital initiatives while also managing LEAP's software engineering practice. Importantly, Josh also deeply cares about his people and is focused on preserving LEAP's boutique culture and small team atmosphere. Outside of work, Josh spends time helping community organizations develop their use of technology and cultivate digital communities in operations and outreach. Josh is also one of those summer camp people. Josh is a graduate of Yeshiva University. He resides in New Jersey together with his wife and four children.

 

Danielle Tangorre, Esq. of Robinson & Cole, Robinson & Cole

Danielle H. Tangorre is a partner with Robinson + Cole and has extensive experience counseling clinical laboratories, health care providers, hospitals, and other healthcare entities to navigate operational and compliance issues. Danielle takes a holistic approach to help her clients achieve their business goals within the regulatory maze of federal and state laws. In addition, Danielle regularly advices clients with respect to federal and state fraud and abuse laws and represents clients before federal and state agencies related to healthcare enforcement investigations and litigation.

 

Ankit Ranjan, Chief AI Officer, TELCOR

Ankit Ranjan serves as Chief AI Officer at TELCOR, where he leads the strategy and execution of TELCOR AI Systems, advancing how clinical and financial data are interpreted and acted upon across the revenue cycle. In this role, he is responsible for integrating advanced intelligence capabilities enabling healthcare organizations to reduce manual effort, improve accuracy, and achieve more consistent financial outcomes.

 

Renée Gecsedi, Associate in Nursing Education, New York State Department of Education

Renée Gecsedi, MS, RN, has been a nurse for over 35 years. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Russell Sage College and later a Master of Science degree in Nursing from the Sage Graduate School. She spent much of her career in oncology, hematology and hospice care. She served as adjunct nursing faculty for the SUNY Empire State University and Excelsior University. She began working with the New York State Education Department in 2014.
